  1. Edition 004Monday, 19 October 2026Pattern-breaking

A$1,000 bought ten years of immunity to bargain against AGL, Origin and Coca-Cola.

A section 93AB collective bargaining notification costs A$1,000 with every further counterparty at A$0 if lodged within 14 days, so Delivery Angel Pty Ltd named fourteen targets — including Origin, AGL, Shell and Coca-Cola — and holds protection to 7 July 2034, while only 133 groups have used the free class exemption since 2021, against 2,729,648 Australian businesses.

  2. Edition 003Monday, 12 October 2026Pattern-breaking

The ACCC moved BYD’s dealer diagnostics from A$14,719.60 outright to A$140 a day.

Section 57CA(3) of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 forces carmakers to sell dealer-level repair data by the day, and on 16 September 2026 the ACCC moved BYD from A$14,719.60 outright to A$140 a day — while the FCAI says only 1% of 320,200 Australian technicians have bought the A$90 credential that unlocks it.

  3. Edition 002Monday, 5 October 2026Pattern-breaking

The US$5,000-a-month Commonwealth contract fell below Australia’s tender line on 17 November 2025.

The Commonwealth Procurement Rules 2025 lifted the open-tender threshold from A$80,000 to A$125,000 on 17 November 2025, and Appendix A exemption 17 removes it entirely to A$500,000 when the supplier is an SME — so the A$95,196.88 invoice that pays US$5,000 a month sits wholly outside competitive tender.

  4. Edition 001Monday, 28 September 2026Pattern-breaking

264,970 of Australia’s 277,376 paid NDIS providers are not registered.

Australia's 1 July 2026 mandatory NDIS registration reform gates only five classes of support; 264,970 of the 277,376 providers the NDIA paid in the quarter to 31 March 2026 were unregistered, billing the same A$73.58 hourly ceiling — so the only live variable between A$712 of capital and US$5,000 a month is a 16.63% platform take rate.
